Chicken Fajita
Chicken Fajitas are basically a Mexican-style snack. In grilled pan or on large skillet, generously add cooking oil, chicken, green bell pepper, salt, pepper, cumin, and fajita seasoning; mix it. It’s so quick and tasty. You can use strips of boneless chicken breast instead of the beef. Feel free to double the marinade. The flavor is so great for such a short marination time.
Ingredients for Chicken Fajita:
- Chicken Boneless – ½ kg
- Cheddar Cheese – ½ cup
- Crushed Red Chilli – 1 tsp
- Garlic – 1 tsp
- Green Chilli – 1 tsp
- Roasted Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
- Roasted Coriander seeds – 1 tbsp
- Coriander, Green chilli – as required
- Salt – to taste
- Tortilla – 1 packet
- Onion – 2
- Capsicum – 2
- Tomato – 2
Method:
Cut chicken into stripes and add lemon juice, garlic, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, salt and red chillies, mix it and leave it for few minutes. Then heat up 2 tbsp oil and fry chicken until its done. Then add onion, tomato, capsicum, coriander & green chillies, mix it nicely and take out.
- Tomato – 4
- Onion – 1
- Crushed Garlic – 1 tsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp
- Crushed Red Chilli – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1/2 tsp
- Oil – 1/2 tsp
Method:
Take a pan, add oil and sauté onion, then add garlic, blended tomato, sugar, red chilli and salt, cook until thick.
For Sour cream:
Add yogurt & lemon juice in cream and mix it.
Now spread sour cream on tortilla. Put chicken filling, add salsa sauce and cheddar cheese on top. Serve.
