How to Make Crunchy Chicken & Chips

Everybody loves fried food, crispy fried chicken or fish and chips, favourite food of all time in any occasion.

Ingredients:

  1. Chicken boneless – ½ kg
  2. Potatoes – 2
  3. Black pepper  1 tsp
  4. Garlic crushed  1 tbsp
  5. Salt – ½ tsp
  6. Vinegar – 2 tbsp
  7. Oil – for fry

Ingredients for Paste

  1. Flour – 1 cup
  2. Egg – 1
  3. Crushed red pepper – 1 tsp
  4. Carom seeds – ½ tsp
  5. Garlic powder – ½ tsp
  6. Salt – ½ tsp
  7. Baking powder – ½ tsp
  8. Chilled water – as required

Method:
Marinate chicken with crushed garlic, salt, vinegar and crushed black pepper. Keep aside for 30 minutes. In a bowl mix together flour, egg, carom seeds, crushed red pepper, garlic powder, salt, baking powder and chilled water as required. Mix well to make thick batter. Now dip marinated chicken cubes in batter one by one and deep fry till golden brown.
Cut potatoes in finger shape, dip each potato finger in prepared paste and deep fry till golden brown and crispy. Serve crispy fried chicken and crunchy chips together with ketchup.
