Ingredients:
- Chicken stocks – 8 cups
- Garlic crushed – ½ tsp
- Chopped carrots – 2 tbsp
- Chopped onion – 2 tbsp
- Sugar – 1 tsp heaped
- Fresh cream – 2 tbsp
- Boiled and shredded chicken – 4 tbsp
- Chopped ginger – 1 inch piece
- Butter – 2 tbsp
- Flour – 2 tbsp heaped
- Salt – 1 tsp
- White pepper – ½ tsp
- Thinly sliced mushrooms – 4
Method:
In a wok, heat up butter and add onion, ginger garlic and carrots. Fry till transparent. Then add flour, salt, pepper and chicken stock. Cook for 15 minutes. When the soup is thick, add sugar, mushrooms and chicken. Cook for a while and pour into a serving bowl. Garnish with fresh cream and chopped parsley before serving.
